POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS

      Many ESL students are much  frustrated on differentiating between possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns so today's lesson will provide the light about that.
      CHART FOR POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS

   Subjects        possessive pronouns
          I                               mine
         We                            ours
         You                           yours
          They                         theirs
          He                            his
           She                          hers
            It                              its
Let's see some formats with examples in the sentences so that they can guide you to speaking good.
     FORMAT 1
Demonstrative +noun+is/are+possessive pronoun
Examples
1.This pencil is mine
2.These cats are ours
         In the first sentence, the word is stands for singular and in the second  sentence are is for plural. However in those two sentences above,the words mine and ours are possessive pronouns and placed there for putting stress.
     FORMAT 2
Noun/subject+am/is/are +noun(s)+of+possessive pronoun
Examples
1.Ali is a friend of hers
2.She's a maidservant of theirs
FORMAT 3 (Two possessive pronouns)
Subject+am/is/are+possessive pronoun+and/+subject+am/is/are+possessive pronoun
Examples
1.You're mine and iam yours
2.She's ours and we are hers
N.B
        In this format we can replace but instead of and in negative
       "Thanks for getting our lesson and we warmly welcome your questions,contributions and even when you need some more paraphrasement about any english topic ".
